EXPLORER - TANZANIA - BREW RECIPE (POUROVER AND ESPRESSO)

We've been brewing Isaiso a number of different ways, but here's a fun recipe that we've settled on for brewing on Kalita (this will work for all pourover methods, with a little bit of grind adjustment depending on preference):

POUROVER

Dosage: 30g coffee

Grind: Medium/Medium-coarse

Brew time: 2:45-3:00 approx (adjust grind if necessary)

Bloom: Pour to 75g

30s - Pour to 200g

1:00 - Pour to 300g

1:20 - Pour to 400g

1:40 - Pour to 500g

We're finding that a slightly faster brew is bringing out it's gentle fruitiness whilst maintaining a balanced acidity and chocolatey finish.

ESPRESSO

Dose: 18g coffee

Yield: 35g espresso

Time: 30s

BASECAMP - BRAZIL - BREW RECIPE

Our Brazil subscription is always a coffee of a very familiar, consistent taste profile - think nutty, chocolatey, sweet coffee. It brews perfectly as both an espresso and pourover, and the way you brew it is entirely up to your tastes! Here's a couple of recipes that we've been enjoying in the roastery:
