We love to explore the full delicious spectrum of flavours specialty coffee has to offer, but we also know there’s a time and a place for a mug of something easy and familiar. This is a seasonal, single-origin fully traceable Brazil with an easy drinking profile: nutty, chocolatey, mellow, sweet and full bodied. It’ll be an easy dial-in and a crowd pleaser with or without milk.
Our Brazil is only available in the great value 1kg size or as a subscription. If you want little and often you can get our Basecamp Subscription HERE. Available as whole bean only.

The Coffee:
This coffee was grown by Fernanado Cleto on his farm, Fazenda Santa Rita, in the northeast of the coffee growing region, Minas Gerais. Fernando inherited the land from his father and two uncles and over the years acquired neighbouring plots to gradually expand the size and production of his holding. He continues to invest to improve the farm and is working to fully mechanize operations while also adhering to regenerative agricultural practices.
The Variety:
At Steampunk, Yellow and Red Catuaí are the varieties we most often gravitate toward when we’re cupping Brazilian coffees. We love their clean flavour profiles and higher complexity relative to other Brazilian varieties.
This coffee is a peaberry selection of the Yellow Catuaí variety. Peaberry beans, which are small and very round, are the result of a genetic mutation that causes only one bean, or seed, to grow inside of a coffee cherry rather than two. Peaberries are often selected out at the drymill where coffee is sized and graded.
If variety is the spice of your life, check out our Variety Pack HERE - all four of our current single origin coffees (250g of each), available as beans or ground for £44.
A note about packaging
This 1kg pack of Brazilian coffee is packaged in a fully recyclable plastic bag which can be recycled with soft plastics at most supermarkets. The shipping box is fully recyclable with cardboard.
